Our House Is Growing!

This significant development will enable us to enhance the level of assistance and support we provide to Shelburne County

Happening Fall 2023!! 


Introducing our newest series: A try-it cooking series led by Our House staff right at the centre! Every second Wednesday starting Sept 20th we'll be learning to cook/make something we may not have tried before. This series is FREE and is open to youth living in Shelburne County and who are in grades 9-12 (ages 14-18).

Haunted House

Hey there, thrill-seekers and lovers of the spooky season! Are you ready to face your deepest fears and have a hair-raising experience like no other? 

Introducing our spine-chilling HAUNTED HOUSE - a heart-pounding journey into the realm of the unknown! 

Prepare to be immersed in a world of frights, where your every step could lead to a new terrifying encounter. Our Haunted House promises a night of screams, jumps, and unforgettable memories.

 What to Expect:

 Dark and eerie corridors

 Bone-chilling surprises around every corner

 Terrifying actors bringing nightmares to life

 Multiple rooms of horror

 Stunning and grotesque set design

 Cost: By Donation at the Door. All monies collected at the door is in support of the SRHS Grads!!

 Sensory-Friendly Haunted House Night - A Spooktacular Adventure for all ages! 

Hey, incredible parents and caregivers!

We're thrilled to announce a very special and heartwarming event - our Sensory-Friendly Haunted House Night! 

At our Sensory-Friendly Haunted House Night, we've created a magical space where Halloween lovers of all ages, including those with sensory sensitivities, can enjoy the thrill of Halloween in a supportive and inclusive environment. 

 What Makes Our Event Sensory-Friendly?

 Soft and calming lighting

 Reduced noise levels

 Clear and marked emergency exits

 Sensory break areas

 Friendly and understanding staff

 What to Expect:

 Kid-friendly spooks and surprises

 Fun and interactive Halloween decorations

 Treat bags

 Friendly and welcoming monsters (no scares here!)

 Cost: this event is by donation with all proceeds going to support the SRHS Grads.

This is a night where children (and adults!) are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes, have fun, and feel safe and comfortable while exploring the wonders of Halloween. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can experience the joy of the season.
